Past Future Continuous Tense

Past Future Continuous Tense menjadi struktur bahasa inggris yang penting. kita akan mengetahui bagaimana rumus past future continuous tense

A.      KALIMAT VERBAL

Rumus : Subject + would/Should + be + verb + ing

1.       Kalimat Berita (affirmative)

Contoh:

-          I Should be studying hard

-          They should be doing their homework

-          You would be writing a letter

-          We would be watching tv

-          She would be eating in the kitchen

-          He would be playing tennis

2.       Kalimat Menyangkal (negative)

Contoh :

-          I shouldn’t be studying hard

-          They shouldn’t be doing their assignment

-          You wouldn’t be writing a letter

-          We wouldn’t be watching tv

-          She wouldn’t be eating in the kitchen

-          He wouldn’t be playing tennis

3.       Kalimat Tanya (interrogative) dengan rumus past future continuous tense

Contoh

-          Should I be studying hard?

-          Should they be doing their homework?

-          Would you be writing a letter?

-          Would we be watching tv?

-          Would she be eating in the kitchen?

-          Would be he playing tennis?

      B.      KALIMAT NOMINAL

Rumus : Subject + Should/would + be + being + bukan kata kerja

PENGGUNAAN PAST FUTURE CONTINUOS TENSE

                                                                                                                         

1.       Digunakan untuk menyatakan bahwa suatu kejadian/peristiwa akan berlangsung, tetapi dalam kurung waktu yang telah lampau. Kalimat bentuk ini umumnya digunakan pada kalimat tidak langsung. Ini contoh rumus past future continuous tense

-          He said : “I will be living in Jakarta on Monday”

He said that he would be living in Jakarta on Monday

Dia berkata bahwa dia akan sedang tinggal di Jakarta pada hari senin

Keterangan waktu yang digunakan selalu dalam bentuk Past Future Continuos Tense antara lain :

-          Tomorrow                : besok

-          Next year                : tahun depan

-          On…..                     : pada….

-          Next week               : minggu depan

-          Next Month                         : bulan depan

-          On Sunday              : pada hari minggu
